Seoul Stopover

Had "so many delicious foods!" on the Korean plane ride and stopover like K-style Bibimbab and Ssambab (which is rice and beef but with a salad that you have to eat by hand).

Arriving at Seoul airport, it was interesting to see the US Military Joint Reception desk and a lot of fresh young GIs asserting their presence.
The Asiana Airlines bus whisked us down the long cold dark highway from Incheon to Seoul. The hotel was not too shabby.
It was pretty cold but not too cold.
After a hotel dinner, walked around the shopping area outside our hotel with Joey, a US-Taiwanese student also on transit. We were trying to find the amazing fairy lights that covered a whole stretch of trees in front of the Westin. It was a slight disappointment when we got there.

The next day the plane was delayed at Incheon airport for 4 hours. I wished it was just 4 hours longer...
